A little over a year ago, I convinced myself to publish an article fueled by my own misconceptions of the community. I'm thankful I sought feedback first, as it opened my eyes to the incredible strength and resilience of our community.
Here's what I appreciate:
Unity in Diversity: I now recognize as the beauty of a diverse ecosystem. Adobe Commerce, Mage-OS, and the Magento Association each bring unique strengths to the table. Together, they're creating a rich community that is stronger for its variety.
Evolving Identity: The Magento name lives on, not just in our hearts, but in tangible ways. Thanks to Mathias Schreiber and Jörg Ems who have reset Magento
Collaborative Spirit: I've witnessed increased cooperation between different parts of our community. Willem Wigman John Hughes and more have help me see how we can work together.
Community Voice: The Magento Association has made strides in amplifying community voices. Their efforts in organizing events and facilitating discussions have been invaluable in keeping our community connected and heard. Noah Oken-Berg, Vijay Golani both have helped me so much!
Corporate Commitment: Adobe's continued investment in Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce demonstrates its commitment to our ecosystem. Thank you to Ritesh Somani and the entire Adobe for their support.
Innovation and Adaptability: Our community's ability to innovate and adapt never ceases to amaze me. Vinai Kopp and the Hyvä team are examples of how we can always innovate.
Shared Purpose: Despite our different roles and perspectives, we're united by a shared love for Magento and a desire to see it thrive. This common purpose is what makes our community truly special. Jamie Huskisson helped me along the way.

Platform for Open Dialogue: I'm grateful for the platforms and spaces within our community that allow us to voice our concerns and engage in constructive discussions. Yes I know, I can be disruptive. Eric Erway is a great example of how to stay positive.
I'm filled with optimism for 2024. The challenges we face aren't obstacles, but opportunities for growth and collaboration. I'm excited to see what we'll achieve together.
